Police gets hint of triangle love in Vicky's murder, another young woman arrested

After remanding a young girl named Swarsati Sarkar for questioning, the investigating police last night detained her younger sister named Sushmita Sarkar for questioning. Swarsati Sarkar is a state level athletic player. After interrogating Swarsati Sarkar, the police detained he sister Sushmita Sarkar and recovered a large amount of cash, gold and several ATM cards from their house in Bhubanban adjacent to Agartala city. A police investigation is on as to where Swarsathi and Sushmita Sarkar, members of a lower middle-class family, got such a huge amount of money and gold with several numbers of ATM card.

According to the police, Swarsati Sarkar had close ties with slain Bharat Ratna Sangh secretary Durgaprasanna Dev alias Vicky and prime accused Raju Barman. Raju and Vicky have contributed money at various times to encourage Swarsathi Sarkar, a member of a poor family, to take up sports. This is how the two sisters Sushmita Sarkar and Swarsati Sarkar got involved in a deep and secret relationship with both of them, said a source in Usha Bazar area.

According to a source of the investigating police, the intimate chat messages of both Raju Barman and Vicky with the detained Swarsathi and Sushmita Sarkar have been seized by them. However, a complaint has been raised from one quarter that investigating police brought the names of the two young women to the public to quickly divert the police investigation into the relationship between the two sisters with Barman and Vicky. Because the police have not yet arrested any of the main accused in this brutal murder case. The pistol used in the murder was also not recovered.

It is known that the mother of these two young women was also brought to west Agartala Mahila Police Station for questioning last night. However, the investigating police are reluctant to divulge any information about who fired, whether any other influential people are involved with the negotiation mafia.

The police could not seize any of the cars and bikes reportedly used in the murder. The police can get the number of the bike and the Dzire car by looking at the CCTV footage around the place where the murder took place. Investigating police can get everything about the owner's name and identity based on this car and motor bike number and can be able to easily arrest the real killers. But after the investigation, the police are busy trying to implicate two young women, Swarsati and Sushmita Sarkar, aged 20 and 22, and their mother in the case. Earlier, the police arrested the former president of Usha Bazar Bharat Ratna Club on suspicion of involvement in the murder. All three of them have now been interrogated by the police at West Police Station. On Friday, the police produced Sushmita and former Bharat Ratna Sangh president Pradyot Dhar Chowdhury in court. CJM Saikat Das ordered police remand three of them till May 7 for questioning. But police could not arrest any of the main accused Raju Barman, Biman Das, Devabrat Barman, Rajesh Barman in this murder case. Deceased Vicky's wife mentioned their names and lodged an FIR.
