Acid attack on the lady at Radha Nagar due to family dispute, one arrested

Police arrested one Binod Dhanuk accused for throwing acid on a lady in the Radhanagar area in Agartala. On Thursday he threw acid on one Anjana Das Ghosh while she was boarding an auto and was absconding since then. The face of the lady was narrowly saved but other parts of the body suffered burn injuries.

Police arrested him from his house at Surya Para in Arundhuti Nagar. It is learned that they have a family dispute and Binod was threatening the lady for some time. Immediately after the incident, the lady filed a case against Binod Dhanuk and the police started an investigation.
