  0 Four youth and student wings of Left Front jointly organised a press meet at Agartala on September 18 to declare their three months long programmes for organizing protest march, rally and meeting across Tripura against the union government’s steps on religious interference on education and steps, which decrease the job opportunities of youths.

0 The 8th state level convention of Tripura Scheduled Caste Coordination Association will be held at Teliamura, this evening. CPI (M) Polit Bureau member Manik Sarkar will give his speech at the open convention which aims to strengthen the movement for the development of Dalit section of people, across the country. The convention will end on next September 15. CPI(M) State Secretary Bijan Dhar and veteran communist leader Anil Sarkar will also remain present in the two days long state level programme.

0 The festival advance of the Tripura government employees has been increase to Rs 500. The Finance department of the state government in a notification announced the hike of festival advance of Rs.500 compared to their previous year amount. The festival allowances of the government employees have also been increase to Rs 700.

0 Altogether 41 employees of Tripura government have caste their postal ballot votes for the by-elections of Manu assembly constituency on September 9 at the office of the subdivisional administration of Sabroom subdivision under South Tripura district.

0 The Gomati district hospital will start its functioning at Tepania in Udaipur at a new constructed building from September 3 next. The old hospital of Udaipur will serve the people as sub divisional hospital.

0 Massive peace rallies were organised in Tripura Monday on the 75th anniversary of the beginning of World War II, with people from all walks of life including politicians, lawmakers,and artists taking part. Physically challenged men and women, foreign tourists and traders also took part in the biggest ever rally held so far in the northeastern state. The main peace procession was held in Agartala where Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, party's central committee member Badal Choudhury, Bijan Dhar, Gautam Das and several other top Left leaders were also present.

0 A team of representatives from central home ministry visited the Reang refugee camps yesterday at Kanchanpur. The central team was accompanied by state government’s revenue Secretary Swapan Saha, DM (North) Sandip Rathore, SDM of Kanchanpur Nantu Ranjan Das and other designated officials rom various department. Additional Secretary of union home ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) Rajib Gobar lead the team which exchanged opinions with the refugees while examining the entire situation of the refugee camps and allied matters.

The results can be collected from 11 AM to 4 PM on the specified date by the Head Master or Mistress and/or their representatives, from the board office.
