  0 Eminent writer of Tripura Himani Chakraborty (70) passes away in Kolkata on November 21.

0 Normal life came to a standstill in Tripura following the state wide 12-hours Bandh on November 20 called by the Congress to protest against the baton charge on the peaceful protesters during the civil disobedience movement of Congress held on November 17 last at Agartala, which injured above 20 supporters of Congress.

0 Two smugglers were arrested by the police of Sepahijala district on November 18 and seized 59 turtles from their possession, which were being smuggled into Agartala from Bangladesh. Arrested two smugglers and 59 endangered turtles were also produced before a local court. Both the smugglers were released on bail by the court and 59 turtles were released in the lake of a local eco-park.
