C K Nayudu: Tripura collapse at 157, Saurashtra 99 for two

Agartala, Oct 27, 2012 : Saurashtra scored 99 runs for two in reply to Tripura’s 157 all-out in the opening day of the four-day match in Colonel C K Nayudu trophy(Under-25) being started at Khandheri Cricket Stadium in Rajkot on Friday.

Winning the toss in the batting friendly wicket the visitors collapsed in 57.5 overs. Vidarbha made 733/8 against Saurashtra on that wicket on October 19-20 last. Only Gourav Bhatia scored 68 runs. Banty Roy(25), Nirupam Sen Chowdhury(15), Sanjib Saha(14) and Nirupam Sen(12). They earned only two runs as extra from Saurashtra bowlers.

In reply, the home side is playing for big total in the first innings so that they can achieve innings victory.

At stumps, Saurashtra were at 99 losing K Vadher(00) and Rahul Dave(18). Sahil Karathia(35) and AarpitVasavada(44) were at the crease. The wickets shared by Banty and Rajib Saha junior.
