CODE OF CONDUCT
(General Meetings)
The
members present in any general meeting shall conduct themselves in a
manner consistent with the prestige and dignity of the Club as well
as the profession of journalism by giving in silence patient hearing
to all the speakers. Should any member or group of members ever feel
aggrieved by the speech of speaker or by any other matter the said
member or group of members may draw the attention of the President
or members of the presidium whose decision in the matter shall be
final and binding. While addressing a general meeting no speaker
shall indulge in personal attack against any of the Club without
solid and unimpeachable evidence. The President of inter alia the
presidium shall have full right to restrain any member from behaving
in an indecent and obstructionist manner and any speaker from
resorting to objectionable language, comments or allegation. If the
President or presidium of any member or group of members are
detrimental to smooth passage of proceedings and privilege of the
house President or presidium shall order immediate expulsion of the
errant member of group of members from the meeting and the verdict
shall be complied with forthwith. The rulings passed and announced
by the President or presidium in the course of any general meeting
shall be final and binding on all members present in such meetings.
