The saying goes: ‘Health is wealth.’ Every individual around the
Globe, educated or illiterate, rich or poor makes all-out effort
to enjoy good health. A sound health is the gateway to reach the
goal in the journey of life whether in the field of education or
intellect or wealth etc. A sound developed mind dwells in a
healthy body and such person will never feel empty. Nothing is
unachievable when one exercises with his present endeavor with a
healthy mind and body.
‘Prevention is better than cure.’ In this age of Information
Technology we have information about our health as-well-as
incidents around the world. Our habits and attitudes are
responsible for our good health. The world is changing very
fast. To match with this fast changing world we have adopted a
life style with fast food, fast lane, fast music, addiction to
tobacco etc. so on, including all basic principles to maintain
good health. These ultimately lead you to anxiety, stress and
tension that ultimately cause Hyper tension, Blood pressure,
Acidity, Peptic ulcer, Diabetics, Arthritics etc. The body
becomes a temple of diseases.
A good health means, the journey of Life is on – and to become
aware of that fact if we follow the following 12 steps the neat
result is a sound health and a healthy mind.
Step: 1: Knowledge is Power, so, the basic knowledge
about maintaining good health and its basis should be clear and
proper awareness should be aroused. For these thousands of
magazines, articles, web-sites are available presently giving
lot of information regarding various diseases and its
protections and preventions. Lot of seminars, exhibitions, fair
and discourses are arranged through media and in public
gathering to bring awareness among the mass. So one is to be
enlightened regarding many folds of health.
Step : 2 : Health means life is in progress – means
movement of the body – means regular exercise. Particularly free
hand exercises. At the present day people’s awareness to
maintain good health invited various theories and types of
exercises suggested by various faculties and school of thoughts.
It is advisable to follow a simple one instead of running after
different schools. Napoleon could perform five different
activities at a time and Sreemat Ram Chandra Jain could perform
hundred different activities at a time. But in this world of
extreme business I shall suggest one exercise with four fold
activities known as ‘Moving Meditation’. It covers physical
exercise, Mental exercise, positive thinking and Relaxation.
This exercise includes twenty eight different postures. If one
performs fourteen in the morning (total one hour ) and fourteen
in the evening regularly then he will maintain a good health and
mind in the coming times. Everybody irrespective of their age
(from 8 to 90 years) can perform this exercise. (This exercise
is known as ‘Taiche’ in China)
Step : 3 : Proper food is the best medicine. Medicine, no
doubt, plays a vital role when some one fall ill, but without
proper diet medicine shall not work properly resulting some
other complicacy. In earlier days diet was treated as medicine
for curing a patient. So, adequate importance must have to be
given on food in addition to proper medicine. ‘Food for Health
not for taste’ should be the slogan.
Step : 4 : ‘Worries’– The enemy of mind. Spiritual
knowledge and Raj Yoga Medition is the basis of stress-free
life. Worries and anxieties cause serious threat on mind and
body. More then 90% of the diseases are caused by worries &
anxieties. Proper mental health is the basis of good hotistic
health.
Step : 5 : Mind is a meta-physical entity having a huge
potential (energy). Ignoring the mind means an invitation to
death penalty. Pure and positive of thoughts are the food for a
healthy mind that can keep diseases miles away. Raj Yoga
Meditation is the best exercise to keep the mind ever healthy.
At least 10 - 5 minutes exercise everyday in the morning and
evening shall be practised.
Step : 6 : Self medication may become dangerous. Medicine
should be administered under proper physician’s advice and avoid
unnecessary medication.
Step : 7 : Anti-addiction is the basis of maintaining a
good health. Any type of addiction to drugs is dangerous for
mind and body. If you are enslaved by any addiction you cannot
expect good health. To remain free from any addiction, that may
be of five sense organs too, one can take help of Raj Yoga
mediation.
Step : 8 : To become aware of the seven artibutes of the
soul.
No. 1. Soul is the embodiment of knowledge that makes the brain
sharp.
No. 2. Soul is the embodiment of peace that keeps the lung
healthy.
No. 3. Soul is the embodiment of Love that makes the heart
strong and healthy.
No. 4. Soul is the embodiment of prosperity and pleasure that
enriches your digestive power.
No. 5. Soul is the embodyment of purity that increased the
positive energy of all the working organs of the body.
No. 6. Soul is the embodyment of Happiness that keeps the
endocrine system of our body healthy functioning.
No. 7. Soul is the embodyment of power that prevents
degeneration of bones and tissues.
Step : 9 : Always remain in a sporting and happy mood. It
is like a Multi vitamin capsule. Make it diet and take regularly
to keep healthy.
Step : 10 : It is essential to increase the vital energy.
Avoid waste and negative thoughts and develop positive thoughts
it will increase positive energy and spread it to your
surroundings. The more you give it the more you will get. This
will keep you ever healthy.
Step : 11 : Keep total faith on the All-Mighty God-Father
and take intermittent advice of Doctor Regular checkup of health
is essential . Alongwith that also keep in touch (meditation)
with the Supreme Surgeon almighty God. Faith in God and
Meditation acts like a healing Medicine.
Step : 12 : Sound sleep (Delta stage) Adequate and timely
sleep is highly essential for good health. Two hours sound steep
keeps you at delta storage for twenty minutes and keeps you fit
and workable for four hours. So six hours sleep means twelve
hours complete physical fitness to perform your duties without
being tired. Regular meditation is the best medicine for sound
sleep. Those who perform Raj Yoga meditation regularly can
attain sound sleep and delta stage, even a 90 years old man may
keep fit and workable like a forty years old young man.
So, try to follow the 12 steps to remain healthy around the
clock. Good Health means life is on.
