This book relies on a historical journey of different areas of present North-East region. Many of us area unaware of the relationship between different states in the past. As close relationships were built between them, so existed rivalry also. These two aspects have formed the base of this book. In the context of the gradual fall of the Dimacha dynasty the author has brought in the matters of Tripura, Jayantia, Manipur and Assam. It is not based on a totally new research but the available sources like different books written by the historians have helped to compose this book.
