Rani Kahini has been developed on the basis of the information available in the historical books including 'Rajmala'. Though the base is historical facts, however, the author had to resort to some imagination at times whenever teh situation demanded. Similarly, while narrating the scenes of queens, history comes up automatically. So, though 'Rani Kahini' is not a history, it contains historical components. So far not much is available in writing on the queens of Tripura. This subject has not been discussed in a separate book. From this point 'Rani Kahini' is a noble effort. A rare combination of history and imagination has made this unique.
