Ratan lambast BJP and centre, appeals people to spoil BJP conspiracy against LF govt

Agartala, Apr 20, 2017 : “After 70 years of independence, the country never seen such widespread of atrocities on minorities and Dalit during the regimen of Narendra Modi led BJP government in centre”, said Scheduled Caste Welfare Minister Ratan Bhowmik.
Addressing a massive gathering of CPI (M) workers and supporters, organized by Aralia local committee protesting the alleged conspiracy of BJP to spoil the prevailing peace and harmony of the state at Panchabati Bazar area of Agartala on Thursday afternoon, SC Welfare Minister Bhowmik said Modi government busy with the appeasement of corporate world and for their business benefits anti-poor steps are taken.
Highlighting on the politics of BJP in Tripura, Bhowmik said that BJP now in Tripura spreading hatred among the different communities of the state and engaged people for divisive politics.
“The people of Tripura belong to highest literacy state and by throwing hatred messages, BJP never gain the faith and love of the people of Tripura”, said Bhowmik.
He said, BJP government in centre so far did not fulfilled any of their pre-poll commitment, despite the suffering of poor people increasing day by day.
When globally, the prices of crude oil has been decreased up to 40 percent, but in India the prices of petrol and diesel increasing day by day along with high inflation rate, said Bhowmik.
He told that BJP government has now down sized the amount MGNREGA and stopped the subsidy on PDS (public distribution system) items including kerosene and sugar. At present the leather business of the country is about Rs. 12,000 crore in a year, but due to atrocities on Dalit people by BJP and RSS, the leather industry of the country are now facing serious threat.
Recalled the dismissal of 10,323 teachers by the apex court of the country, Bhowmik said that new education policy would not be fruitful, where the states like Tripura does not have proper infrastructure for basic education courses.
Speaking at the gathering, CPI (M) state secretariat member and veteran leader Subrata Chakraborty said that false propaganda cannot prevails for a long period and mind of people cannot also be earned through falsehood. Targeting BJP for its negative politics on the dismissal of 10,323 teacher jobs, Chakraborty said that the Left Front and its government is committed to save the jobs of the teachers and appealed to the people to keep their faith on LF government.
The country is now going on a crisis situation, BJP and RSS continue their division politics in the name of religion and they are trying to divide the society in the name of Hinduism, said Chakraborty.
“I am also Hindu Brahmin, the religion of Hindu never taught of vilification and gives lesson of secularism”, said Chakraborty adding that saints of Hindu never told for spreading hatred on Muslims.
He added that peace loving people of Tripura will spoil hatred and conspiracy of BJP and keep maintain the peace and harmony of the state.
He asked the party members to be humble and approach the masses with humility, work in close cohesion with them and win over more and more new people to the party fold to defeat the conspiracy of BJP. He said the BJP government in centre is trying to thwart every developmental program of the LF government. Cutting down the allocation in MNREGA is a perfect example of it. In spite of that Tripura has topped in generating person days for last seven years.
During the rally, DYFI’s state president Pankaj Ghosh, local MLA Ramu Das and secretary of CPI (M) Dukli divisional committee Narayan Deb also delivered their speeches highlighted on the misrule of union government.
