Supply of  Part Information

(1) When request is made for access to any  information and the information is partly exempt from disclosure and  partly not exempt from disclosure, access may be allowed to that  part of the information  which is not exempt from disclosure and is  severable.  [Section-10(1)]

(2) When  access is granted to a part of the record,  a notice shall be given to the applicant  informing  him of :–

(a) the grounds  for allowing access to a part of the record,  

(b) the name and designation of the person  who has given the Decision;           

(c) the details of fees calculated by the PIO and the amount of fee which the applicant is required to deposit;  and 

(d) the applicant’s right  to file an appeal  against the decision to the  Appellate authority and the time limit within which the appeal is to be preferred.  [Section-10 (2)]
